Malco Products began in 1950 when Mark W. Keymer decided to manufacture and market a pipe crimper he had invented for installing sheet metal ducts. The company that is now Vaughan and Bushnell Manufacturing Company was founded in Peoria, Illinois, by 18-year-old blacksmith Alexander Vaughan in the 19th century. Vaughan and Bushnell started as a simple plumbing business. Still, they quickly moved to Chicago, Illinois, where Sydney Bushnell joined the company to help it after the devastating Chicago fire. Today the company manufactures over 17 different tools at its Bushnell Illinois manufacturing facility, including hammers, picks, mallets, axes, nails, handles, and pry bars.
Where is Viking® Drill & Tool Located?
Viking Drill & Tool is located in Saint Paul, Minnesota, manufacturing high-speed cutting tools since 1951. From raw materials to finished cutting products, Viking engineers and manufactures cutting tools at its 74,000-square-foot facility in Saint Paul.

If you have not heard of them, it is probably because their main business is white-label tools for various national and international companies, mass marketers, and OEMs. The company began 95 years ago in Kansas City, Missouri, when brothers Paul and Otto Froeschl thought of angling the nose with 32-degree straight nose pliers to create greater leverage and gripping power.

In 1941 Hugh W. Vogl founded the Wilton Vice manufacturing company in Chicago, Illinois, naming it after its cross street.
